HOLLY ADU

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s) challenge conventional design, offer property owners increased value, and provide opportunities for affordable housing. With this in mind, Davey McEathron Architects designed this beautiful, two-story, 1,000-SF ADU with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and multiple patios. We are proud to have been a part of this innovative, residential project located in East Austin. Like all land projects, permitting was vital and a significant factor in whether this project’s schedule would be met. The project required amending a Water & Wastewater Tap Plan to secure water service for the ADU.

We were hired by the architect to perform this task given our long, proven history of successful permitting in Austin. With our help, the Water & Wastewater Tap Plan was amended, submitted, and approved by Austin Water Utility (AWU) within two weeks. The Plan called for replacing the existing water service line and water meter.
